Job Title: Marketing Manager

About Us: The National Bankers Association Foundation (NBAF) is the philanthropic arm of the National Bankers Association, the leading voice for minority depository institutions (MDIs). National Bankers Association Foundation is dedicated to advancing economic empowerment, financial inclusion, and equity in underrepresented communities by supporting MDIs and fostering initiatives that drive social and financial change.

Position Overview: The Marketing Manager will play a pivotal role in advancing the NBAF’s marketing and communications strategies. This position involves developing and implementing effective marketing plans, producing compelling content, managing digital and social media campaigns, and supporting events. The ideal candidate is creative, strategic, and passionate about using marketing to amplify National Bankers Foundation’s mission and impact.

Key Responsibilities:

​

Marketing Strategy and Execution:

  • Design and implement marketing strategies to enhance the visibility and reach of NBAF programs and initiatives.

  • Optimize and manage digital marketing campaigns, including social media, email marketing, and website content.

  • Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and track campaign success, using data to refine strategies.

 

Content Development:

  • Create and coordinate the production of marketing materials, including brochures, reports, presentations, and digital content.

  • Ensure all content aligns with NBAF’s brand identity and effectively communicates its mission and objectives.

Event Support:

· Collaborate with the team to promote NBAF’s events, including the Annual Conference and other key initiatives.

· Provide logistical and marketing support for events, ensuring seamless execution and post-event follow-up.

Social Media Management:

· Manage NBAF’s social media accounts by working with external agency in creating, scheduling, and publishing engaging content.

· Monitor social media analytics to assess performance and optimize content strategies.

Stakeholder Engagement:

· Collaborate with internal teams to ensure cohesive messaging and branding.

· Build and maintain relationships with sponsors, partners, and members to advance NBAF’s goals.

​

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.

· 3-5 years of experience in marketing and communications, preferably within the nonprofit or financial services sector.

· Proven ability to develop and execute marketing strategies and create diverse marketing content.

· Proficiency in digital marketing tools (e.g., social media platforms, email marketing, CRM systems) and content management systems.

· Strong analytical skills with a results-oriented mindset.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences.

· Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
